MANY independent scientists have concluded that the global warming scam is based on a flawed computer model, thus your correspondent Len Eyles (Observer August 27) can stop worrying.
NASA reported last year that the ice coverage of both the North and South Poles is the same today as it was in 1979. The Globe and Mail of Toronto reported that February 2015 was the coldest on record.
The myth of man-made climate change has lead to the construction of grossly inefficient wind turbines that blight the countryside, and seascapes, resulting in the loss of employment in electricity dependent industries. For example:
The Tata Steel Company, based in Wales, is mothballing its plant in Llanwern, signalling the loss of 250 jobs. A year ago the steel giant closed its site in Port Talbot, costing 400 jobs.

Over the weekend, there was another massive “splutter” from the media with only four stories even vaguely mentioning “the world’s biggest problem” throughout the whole world over a 10 hour period.
And as this comment today makes clear, the climate extremists have lost almost all media support. Now Global warming is on life support. Like the Dead Parrot it is technically dead but still gives the occasional twitch when prodded by that tiny handful of the heading-toward-bankruptcy green=gullible media:

I’ve noticed an increasing trend of sceptics being reported in the news. So I was intrigued to find an article yesterday in a small Australia paper about the research of “Dr Evans” – not surprised to find he works in Fourier analysis because it was my knowledge in Fourier analysis that was key to making me a sceptic. And not surprised to find he is also an electrical engineer (as engineers understand how to deal with complex systems whereas academics are taught how to ignore all the real world complexity and focus on the bit they can model).
But then I thought I saw a familiar face:

A MATHEMATICAL discovery by Perth-based electrical engineer Dr David Evans may change everything about the climate debate, on the eve of the UN climate change conference in Paris next month.

A former climate modeller for the Government’s Australian Greenhouse Office, with six degrees in applied mathematics, Dr Evans has unpacked the architecture of the basic climate model which underpins all climate science.
He has found that, while the underlying physics of the model is correct, it had been applied incorrectly.
He has fixed two errors and the new corrected model finds the climate’s sensitivity to carbon dioxide (CO2) is much lower than was thought.
It turns out the UN’s Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change has over-estimated future global warming by as much as 10 times, he says…

I was reading today that for the sake an emissions target that was so worthless that no one bothered to check it … VW owners are going to be asked to take their cars to some garage to have them change it so that it uses more fuel, it’s performance is worse, and likely the engine won’t last as long.
Only a complete moron would believe any owner would waste their time on such a pathetic and pointless exercise such for the sake of Eurocrasy.
So, why the billions lost on the VW share price when I can’t believe more than 0.1% (i.e. just complete eco-morons) would ever ask for the change. No! It seems to me, that the only way VW owners will make this change is if they are dragged kicking and screaming to it.
And what will the eco-fascist Eurocrasy do if they refuse? Jail them?
I can’t imagine a better way to show people the madness of eco-fascism.

Following the Volkwagon scandal whereby we found out that car makers cheated to get past their climate “exams”, I now read in the Guardian of all places that UK academics (like anders) who spend their time pontificating at the rest of us about how easy it is to reduce carbon use are now being total hypocrites in their own religion and failing to achieve anything like their own crazy targets. Or as those natural climate change science-deniers in the Guardian put it:

of 127 universities in England … the majority (76%) are due to miss the target of 43% reduction across the sector by 2020, as set by the Higher Education Funding Council for England (Hefce) in 2010. … the overall reduction is likely to be closer to just 12% by that date. Some 35 universities were found to have increased their carbon emissions since 2005.

What do the universities say?

‘Sustainability is part of what we teach’
‘There’s an anomaly in the data somewhere’

I just wanted to capture this image – because as a sceptic – I fully expect the normal alarmist claptrap to resume soon. Notice,  the top story within the last three hours is still that announcement of an intended talk at some community college in some place I’ve never heard of. And if we discount that one as not really news at all, then there have only been two stories within the last 10 hours.

Come to think of it – I’ve published more stories on my blog alone – that apparently the “mainstream” media have in the rest of the world in the last 10 hours!

According to a paper I’ve never heard of called the “Roanoke Times” which I assume is published in the US:

And the reason I publish this? It’s because there were only three news articles. Two were on crabs supposedly migrating “due to warming” and this one in the last nine hours.
And so I also checked the Guardian, which usually has around 3 “global warming” stories each and every day. Today: NONE!

It’s like someone turned off the tap!

According to recent a recent announcement:

Atmospheric chemists from France and Germany, however, can now show that isoprene can also be formed without biological sources in the surface film of the oceans by sunlight and so explain the large discrepancy between field measurements and models. The new identified photochemical reaction is therefore important to improve the climate models.

And the commentary in the Register (which may not be entirely accurate) says:

Global models at the moment assume total emissions of isoprene from all sources – trees, plants, plankton, the lot – of around 1.9 megatons per year. But, according to the new research, the newly discovered “abiotic” process releases as much as 3.5 megatons on its own – which “could explain the recent disagreements” between models and reality.

But if it is true, this process is enough to explain up to 6C/century difference between the predictions and the pause, then it must be massive in its effect and if so, it could mark the end of the Global Warming scare (in a way that doesn’t involve large numbers of academics going to court on charges of fraud, corruption, embezzlement, etc.)
