I sent an invite to Neil to read some material posting some links here.
Why I would love to meet Neil.
- First, I think we share much in common in terms of political outlook … but agreeing can be boring.
- We have very different views about history … largely because his cynicism about current world events is not matched by a suitable cynicism of the “history” that we are presented with. So, we might talk about the non-existant celts and a host of other intriguing subjects … that’s the first 15minutes done.
- Then I would love to talk about the future. A new vision. Nothing glorious, just something better than the current appalling mess we have. We need an alternative vision for the future, and in the hatred and censorship of Two Tier Kier’s prison state, we need to imagine a pathway to a much better future. No, I don’t have a vision to sell, but I do think we need to start talking about a pathway to something better and gain control over the narrative.
