It will get a lot worse

The problem with Nut Zero, is that it is a long term policy of economic suicide. And, once you set out on the path, it becomes hugely difficult to change the outcome, because Nut zero ingrains economic suicide within the economy so that it will continue collapsing long after they wake up and attempt to stop it.

That is why the Russians and Chinese were so keen for the west to adopt Nut Zero.

Given the appalling evil we have seen where governments have been helping the genocide of the original people of Palestine, that evil in the west means it is hard to say the Russians and Chinese were wrong.

The Brics nations, led by Russia and China are now undermining the western financial system with the west uses to suck dry the global economy and pour the money into the hands of “western” bankers (they aren’t our bankers).

The west is now up to its eyeballs in debt, and in no position with withstand a financial collapse created as the west attempts to attack the Brics nations (thereby undermining the credibility of the west more and more).

And Trump … he is just making everything worse. The world wants free of the US global bully boy and that is why they turned to Brics. So, Trump doubling down and boosting the global bully boy stunts is doing more than anything else to grow support for Brics.

It is hard to watch people like Trump destroying and taking down the west. For that is what he is doing. The worst is knowing that Russia and China are not that much better. But, Trump is giving the world little choice but to go along with the Brics plan.

We now have rock bottom confidence in politicians after the covid jab scandal. And, what insanity are the doing? Digital IDs that is certain to get Reform elected.

They are pushing for higher energy prices from Nut Zero … and they double down on that as well.

Putin allowed the west to take all that money … to show the world that their money was not safe in western banks. And, what do they do? They pretend to lend money someone else’s money, when all they are doing is lending their own, and not only will they have to repay the Russians all the money no matter what they get up to, but they undermine the credibility of western banking and finance at the same time.

It’s embarrassing knowing that “our” politicians have been completely utterly outsmarted by the Russians, but that is the truth.

Digital ID: starmer’s polltax – he’s got a death wish

There is no chance in hell of digital ID going anywhere, except into the history books as Starmer’s polltax. I only wonder how it is possible, even for someone so out of touch as Starmer, to imagine that his rock bottom popularity will be improved by treating the voters as cattle to be branded.

Not a lot else to say about it. Except I am intrigued to know who thought Digital ID was a hill worth dying on.

Israel has committed genocide in the Gaza Strip, UN Commission finds

GENEVA – Israel has committed genocide against Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, the UN Independent International Commission of Inquiry on the Occupied Palestinian Territory, including East Jerusalem, and Israel said in a new report today. The Commission urges Israel and all States to fulfil their legal obligations under international law to end the genocide and punish those responsible for it.

The Commission has been investigating the events on and since 7 October 2023 for the last two years, and concluded that Israeli authorities and Israeli security forces committed four of the five genocidal acts defined by the 1948 Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide, namely killing, causing serious bodily or mental harm, deliberately inflicting conditions of life calculated to bring about the destruction of the Palestinians in whole or in part, and imposing measures intended to prevent births.

Explicit statements by Israeli civilian and military authorities and the pattern of conduct of the Israeli security forces indicate that the genocidal acts were committed with intent to destroy, in whole or in part, Palestinians in the Gaza Strip as a group.

“The Commission finds that Israel is responsible for the commission of genocide in Gaza,” said Navi Pillay, Chair of the Commission. “It is clear that there is an intent to destroy the Palestinians in Gaza through acts that meet the criteria set forth in the Genocide Convention.”

“The responsibility for these atrocity crimes lies with Israeli authorities at the highest echelons who have orchestrated a genocidal campaign for almost two years now with the specific intent to destroy the Palestinian group in Gaza,” Pillay said. “The Commission also finds that Israel has failed to prevent and punish the commission of genocide, through failure to investigate genocidal acts and to prosecute alleged perpetrators.”

The report is based on all the Commission’s prior investigations, as well as factual and legal findings in relation to attacks in Gaza carried out by Israeli forces, and the conduct and statements of Israeli authorities from 7 October 2023 until 31 July 2025. The Commission’s findings are based on a comprehensive examination of the underlying acts of genocide (actus reus) and genocidal intent (dolus specialis).

In establishing the genocidal acts, the Commission examined the Israeli military operations in Gaza, including killing and seriously harming unprecedented numbers of Palestinians; imposing a total siege, including blocking humanitarian aid leading to starvation; systematically destroying the healthcare and education systems in Gaza; committing systematic acts of sexual and gender based violence; directly targeting children; carrying out systematic and widespread attacks on religious and cultural sites; and disregarding the orders of the International Court of Justice.

In establishing genocidal intent, the Commission applied the “only reasonable inference” standard set forth by the International Court of Justice in the case of Bosnia v. Serbia. The Commission analysed statements made by Israeli authorities and concluded that those statements are direct evidence of genocidal intent. The Commission also analysed the pattern of conduct of Israeli authorities and the Israeli security forces in Gaza, including imposing starvation and inhumane conditions of life for Palestinians in Gaza, and found that genocidal intent was the only reasonable inference that could be concluded from the nature of their operations.

“Israel has flagrantly disregarded the orders for provisional measures from the International Court of Justice and warnings from Member States, UN offices, human rights organisations and civil society groups, and continued the strategy of destruction of the Palestinians in Gaza,” said Pillay. “The Commission finds that the Israeli authorities had no intention to change their course of actions. On the contrary, Israeli authorities have persisted and continued with their genocidal campaign in Gaza for almost two years now. Israel must immediately end the genocide in Gaza and comply fully with the orders for provisional measures of the International Court of Justice,” she added.

The acts of Israeli political and military leaders are attributable to the State of Israel. The Commission therefore concluded that the State of Israel bears responsibility for the failure to prevent genocide, the commission of genocide and the failure to punish the perpetrators of genocide against the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.

The Commission also concluded that Israeli President Isaac Herzog, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and then Defence Minister Yoav Gallant, have incited the commission of genocide and that Israeli authorities have failed to take action against them to punish this incitement. The Commission has not fully assessed statements by other Israeli political and military leaders and considers that they too should be assessed to determine whether they constitute incitement to commit genocide.

The Commission urges the Government of Israel to comply immediately with its international legal obligations, including to end the genocide in the Gaza Strip and fully implement the provisional measures orders of the International Court of Justice.

Israel must end its policy of starvation, lift the siege and facilitate and ensure the unimpeded access of humanitarian aid at scale and unhindered access of all United Nations staff, including UNRWA and OHCHR international staff, and all recognized international humanitarian agencies delivering and coordinating aid. The Commission calls on Israel to immediately end the activities of the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation.

The Commission recommended that Member States cease the transfer of arms and other equipment that may be used for the commission of genocidal acts to Israel; ensure individuals and corporations in their territories and within their jurisdiction are not involved in aiding and assisting the commission of genocide or incitement to commit genocide; and take action on accountability through investigations and legal proceedings against individuals or corporations that are involved in the genocide directly or indirectly.

“The international community cannot stay silent on the genocidal campaign launched by Israel against the Palestinian people in Gaza. When clear signs and evidence of genocide emerge, the absence of action to stop it amounts to complicity,” said Pillay. “Every day of inaction costs lives and erodes the credibility of the international community. All States are under a legal obligation to use all means that are reasonably available to them to stop the genocide in Gaza,” she added.

Another One Bites the Dust

Shell abandons huge biofuel project in Netherlands

If anyone wonders why Russia is winning in Ukraine, and indeed the west is now a forlorn hope in terms of being “the” global power or having any special influence with the rest of the world, that headline explains it.

Governments make many stupid decisions, and no doubt Putin has made many. But for good government, those bad decisions are haphazard occurrences within a general pattern of good decision making.

But, never in the history of humanity (at least as far as I can think of), have so many governments made so many bad decisions that now dominate their entire culture, economy and futures.

And, we’re not even yet seeing the real cost of this insane policy. The real cost is much longer term and far more damaging than a few small corps going bust or a few others losing a lot of money. Nut Zero is a systemic destruction of the economy to its roots and to its core.

The future historians of the west (if we can still afford such luxuries) will ALL look back at this era with total disgust at the way this present generation have so mindlessly squandered all they were handed on a plate by those who went before.

Even when government attempt to totally reverse the policy, the floodgates of destruction have already been opened and the flow cannot be stopped just by wishful thinking … indeed we needed the vibrant economy they destroyed, to give us the tools to turn it around, so much of the damage cannot be reversed, even though we are yet to see it.

I’m getting bored of saying: “I told you so”.

For years I have been pointing out that Nut Zero is economic suicide, and so any party that embraces Nut Zero is going to end up hated by the electorate.

And just as I predicted it has come to pass.

Also, there is no point discussing global “temperature” from the knowingly pathetic array of thumb in the airs “sensors” that they have. There are carry on film thermometers stuck in arses that were higher precision and more meaningful than the garbage the Motly office pumps out.

So, it didn’t help that I banned NotALotOf… from having any of my comments for at least a month … and then I realised that I really am not interested in reading yet another article showing that Nut Zero is a catastrophe for the economy as well as those idiots who backed it.

We’re now at the stage where the people who spent an awful lot of their own time and money telling the idiots not to go up onto the snow hills because of the avalanche risk are being told they need volunteers to help find the victims of the avalanche. I cannot afford the time nor the money to help now.

So I was right … so who cares? There is no profit for me in being right … except knowing I was right. But, I wasn’t guessing. I might have been wrong, but even if I had been wrong, the decision to push nut zero was the wrong decision by the wrong people for the wrong reasons. So, there was very little chance of me being wrong. So, I wasn’t exactly taking much of a chance … I was just wasting time and effort on idiots who attacked me for trying to help.

NotALotOfPeopleWatchIt

There was a time when it mattered what the green blob said. I really can’t be bothered with them any longer, because mother nature and father economics are now in control. The electorate have their new mistresses and they are much more interesting than the boring old tart of the BBC and their endless green blob of doom.

Yes, there are still a lot of wealthy people who have far more money than sense, who pontificate about the green non-science. But the reality is that most other people have had enough of the green shite. And, business now knows the tide is turning and they are starting to bet again on Fossil fuels.

I no longer turn off the green shite to make a political point. I turn it off because it is utterly boring. There are videos of paint drying that are more entertaining.

So, the weird thing is reading articles from the few sceptics who still watch the BBC. They are besotted with the organisation, so besotted that they are constantly telling us how their licence fee is being misspent by inveterate liars. So, why are they still watching?

I find it incredulous that people who know the BBC constantly lie on one subject that they know about, continue to watch, when they must know that if they lie about what they know about, then they are obviously going to be lying about everything else. The BBC are simply not a credible source of information on anything.

The simple truth is this. There are people who don’t watch the BBC. Then there are people who gullibly watch the BBC soaking up all their lies. Both of those have understandable positions.

Then there are people who know the BBC are lying, who continue to watch. WHY?

Putin in Native American lands

Putin is going to the land of the Native Americans. I don’t understand why, since he and Trump know that he needs to meet the Israelis to know what is happening in the land of the Native Americans.

My prediction is that Putin will either not go, because some crazy demand is put on him by the Israeli stooges, or he will go and be kidnapped … which will turn him into a national hero in Russia and allow a smooth transition to his chosen successor, or Putin will sit at the table repeating the same red lines he has always had and then will go home, having done nothing except show a readiness to talk … when the Israeli stooges have something worth talking about.

There is absolutely no reason for Putin to give ground one inch. The longer the conflict goes on, the better the Russian position.

At this point, I suspect Putin wants to keep the war going indefinitely. That he wants to keep putting the pressure on the west, and keep putting the pressure on Ukraine, because that is one way to achieve his objectives. Peace is not necessary.

How Labour Lost the Next election

Banning Palestine Action has totally backfired. Banning free speech, now I know Farage is going to repeal the acts, makes it a no brainer to vote Reform.

I have never seen a party so keen to be booted out of government, and with all likelihood, given that Corbyn is going to create a better version of Labour, they will never to return.

My thoughts today.

The simple fact is this. I strongly doubt that even with the best will … and that there is not … that we will get enough data before almost everyone here is dead, for anyone to say with any confidence whether there is any change. Because following the era when lying was not just encouraged, but a requirement to have a job, we now have a massive chasm in the temperature data that no amount of post processing and filtering can ever make tolerable for scientific assessment of temperature change. So, even with the best will, we can only start from a new base, with a new global network of world class temperature measuring sites … which will likely take a decade, and likely be impossible in today’s highly charged global situation. But, even if it were possible, it would still take decades to get the first inkling of any ongoing change, if any. And that my friends, is what this generation of scoundrels have bequeathed to the world. Continue reading
