I read another “I told you so” about the collapse of the so called “Paris Agreement”.
I seem to recall I laughed at when it came out. Yet far too many sceptics seemed to believe that just because a bunch of know-nothing idiot politicians had got someone else to book their flights to Paris and actually managed to stay on the plane till it arrived, and then found a pen and managed to sign their own name to something none of them understood, that somehow the sceptics imagined it would change the world.
It has not, and it will not. The world carries on whether or not the idiots who signed the paris agreement want it to or not. They have very little control, and they chose to exercise the small amount of control they did have, in the most stupid manner possible. It was not difficult to predict failure, because there was no other outcome.
Nuclear War
So, we are yet again standing on the edge of nuclear war.
Logically the time for Russians to start that war is as soon as they see no future course of events other than the destruction of Russia (which e.g. is the same as allowing Nato to win in Ukraine) or a nuclear war. The EU, UK and US via their constant aggression pushing back on Russia year after year have ensured that Russia believes their is no alternative but to defend Russia through whatever means are available. Ukraine is where it is making that last stand … win or lose, the future of Russia depends on it. So it will not flinch from nuclear war if that is the course the US takes the conflict.
Why do Tomahawks trigger that? Because I cannot see any response by Russia to the US firing nuclear ready missiles into Russia that doesn’t lead to nuclear war. The Russians may have a long-range hypersonic missile that could evade all US defences. But, they are not going to display that and allow the US time to devise counter measures. Likewise defensive measures against Tomahawks cannot be put to use. Because to display any defensive capability against nuclear ready missiles, just allows the US to better prepare for the inevitable nuclear war that has to follow if that course is taken.
Russia could launch a massive onslaught against Zelensky in Kiev, but that is not going to stop further Tomahawks, just push the war into one that favours the US Shock and Awe big weapons killing of civilians … and that inevitably leads to nuclear war.
And, when the Russians start the nuclear war, because there is no rational reason for them to wait for the US to start it, logically, the Russians will be very careful not to suggest in any way that nuclear war is their intended course of action. So, there will be no build up … there will be no outward sign that the Russians have decided to go nuclear.
Thus, the Russians will not start the war “in response” to anything. There will be no prelude of sabre ratling or hurried diplomatic meetings, there will be no increasing tensions suggesting war, there will be nothing to hint war is coming … thus there will no build up. It will NOT be the expected next turn of events. Indeed, they will ideally pick a point of reducing tensions, when it is the last thing anyone believes will happen.
Most people will imagine that it’s a perfectly normal day/evening/night/morning … and those who first hear it will imagine that it’s a hoax.
And even if the Russians did initiate it “in response” … the “response” will never in a million years be expected to be nuclear … instead “the response” will be used as a cover for a full out attack.
But that is also what the Russians believe the US is planning. So a large strike by Tomahawks will be seen as a likely first wave of a stealth nuclear strike, with all this pretence that it is “just conventional” intended to deceive Russia. The Russians know that is what they will do, so they will imagine that is what the US are doing.
So, it is very difficult to see the Russians accepting the Tomahawks, because however the Russians respond, the outcome will be a nuclear war.
Won’t Russia lose in a nuclear as well?
Yes many Russians will die. But it is clear that the Russians are ready to make that sacrifice. That is not a question it is even worth asking of any population in the west. But for Russians, if war is what is required to stop the tear up of Russia by the western globalists as they did to Iraq … just because it was ripe for their picking … Russians will support a nuclear war.
Russians are not going to let the US globalists do to Russia what they have seen them doing to so many other countries.
The calculations are simple: no matter how bad the war, Russians are far far more capable of surviving the aftermath of a nuclear war than the US. So, even if more Russians die in the exchange, the US will be effectively wiped from the map by the war, whereas Russia will survive in some form.
And, if war is coming: it may as well be fought, as a nuclear war favours the Russia. So, if they are going to have to fight it, they may as well fight it in the manner that best favours Russia.
The Insanity
Rationally, the less anyone in the west expects a nuclear war, the more likely it is, because the Russians will spend the time leading up to their first strike trying to make it appear that they are not heading for nuclear war.
And the rest of this I have cut, … because if the Russians thought some nobody like me could work out what they planned to do, then they would imagine the military “elite” would know it, and that would push them even sooner to a first strike.
