It's snowing again – again!

A while back I wrote an article saying it was the snowiest winter we had had. We then got the so called “beast from the east”. That brought Scotland to a standstill. For a few days it looked like it might melt away.
It’s now snowing and settling again.
I will be spending some serious money preparing for next winter.

We had a few flurries a week past Monday and it has snowed every day since; nine consecutive days on which it has snowed. I wonder what the record is for consecutive snow days in central Scotland – perhaps we have just set a new record?

It does sound like a record.
If I had known we’d get this much snow – I’d have kept a record from the beginning of winter.

Here it melted 2 days after it fell and even at its worst it barely covered the grass. There was more snow in London. My heart yearns for real snow but my head appreciates the namby pamby place I live.

Possible mini-beast from the east reaching Scotland around 17th March.
