18 Years no warming

I was looking at the new version of UAH and I was reminded everyone that it’s 18 years without warming …

    I heard that it isn’t appropriate to use a linear trend line, because the global climate isn’t a linear system. According to an IPCC report author the climate is a coupled non-linear chaotic system. (IPCC Third Assessment Report (2001), Section 14.2.2.2, page 774.)

    The climate is just one huge bucket into which a massive load of other effects are dumped. There is no model or “system” that is appropriate.
