Well the Pope’s encyclical has come and gone and frankly it’s not made a bit of difference – except they’ll be quite a few furious republicans and other world leaders resolved to ensure this debacle never happens again – so I expect fireworks in the near future – not necessarily all going upward in celebration but many aimed squarely at certain doors.
So I thought it was time for something more light hearted:

Russian Investigative Commission spokesperson Vladimir Markin demands to know where those moon rocks went.
MOSCOW, June 18 (UPI) — For most conspiracy theorists, questioning the moon landing is rather passe. They’ve moved on to Benghazi, global warming and GMOs.
But one official in Russia didn’t get the memo. Russian Investigative Commission spokesperson Vladimir Markin wants an international investigation into the Apollo moon missions.
Specifically, Markin wants to know what happened to the film footage of the landings. He’s also curious about where those moon rocks ended up.

My take
After the way NASA fabricated global temperature data by knowingly employing a self-enriching environmental activist to do that job … it wouldn’t surprise me if NASA did fake the moon landings, but I’ve yet to see any evidence suggesting it.

Nah, they were real, if they weren’t it would have been leaked by now,you could not possibly keep something like that secret. I reckon they are jealous,note ,the Russians have never been there
But judging from the depressed mood of the astronauts at the press conference after that first mission, and the hesitance to the question “what did the sky look like when you looked up” [+ the aster which baffled some], I wonder about that first one.
How did they get through the radiation belt? There were a lot of things about that trip which didn’t seem right.

There is no doubt the Apollo lunar samples came from the Moon because . . .
Analysis of noble gas isotopes in lunar soils from the Apollo Mission revealed a systematic enrichment of lighter mass isotopes of mass, m-L, over those of heavier mass, m-H, as expected from nine theoretic stages of mass-dependent fractionation (f):

This value of solar mass fractionation and the abundances of elements at the top of the photosphere revealed that the most abundant elements in the interior of the Sun are:
Iron (Fe), oxygen (O), silicon (Si), nickel (Ni), sulphur (S), magnesium (Mg) and calcium (Ca)
NASA and other federal research agencies hid evidence of the Sun’s iron-rich interior after WWII.
