Who will rid me of these iritating climate extremists?

We sceptics won the global warming “war” at the level of the scientific evidence long ago. The human adjusted measurements of temperature might still show warming – but the fact it is the human adjustment and not the actual temperature that has the warming is proven by the satellites which show no warming for 18 years.
And anyone who knows anything about climate – whether sceptic or even climate extremists – knows that the climate has not shown any trends in severe weather, droughts, floods, snow, ice-packs are back to normal, etc. Last time I looked the only trends were a drop in hurricane activity, that there was potential evidence of some melting of Greenland – but like the Glaciers that is almost certainly a delayed result of coming out of the little ice-age. And there may just be a significant trend in rainfall. However, given how many things are measured, we expect by pure chance to find some trends that are just significant – so there is no overall significant change in the climate … except the rise in CO2 (with no apparent affects) and the continuing natural variation which does not appear to have changed one jot in its scale as shown by the Central England Temperature record.
So, this is not a “preponderance of evidence “(>50% ) it is an absolutely overwhelming damnation of the global warming doomsday scam.

Irritating climate alarmists

There is now absolutely no reason any rational person should be backing this scam. And so there are now two (honest) groups who do:

  • The arrogant conceited “nose in the trough of public money” people who have far less common sense than most people, who came to a fixed view about climate long ago, and who now spend all their time – no looking at the evidence – but instead refusing to look at the plentiful evidence against them – whilst telling everyone else they are wrong.
  • The gullible idiots who follow those arrogant fools – again overwhelmingly with their snouts in the trough of public money – and who again do not to lift up their snouts to see the hard evidence beyond the trough.

My wasp nest

And they are like the wasps that decided to build their nest above where I work. Personally I don’t see wasps in themselves as bad – and you don’t normally think of them as being noisy – but this lot would sit and chew at the paper lining on the ceiling plaster – which then acted as a sound board.
So, eventually I had enough and sprayed the entrance with wasp killer. But did that stop them? No! I had to go back time and time again. Because despite the fact that I had overwhelming “fire power” the little blighter’s just refused to die.
And that is how I feel about climate extremists now. They don’t have a leg to stand on in terms of the science. Yet despite the overwhelming evidence against their absurd religion – they just won’t go away.
So, really it is time these pests flew away to some subject like alien abductions or finding ghosts or something where their “special powers” might have relevance, but otherwise these immoral, imbecilic and worst of all annoying people will just have to be squashed.

I got them in my eves. I’d hear then first thing in the morning. I drilled a hole through the plasterboard and stuck in a tube of Raid ant and crawler spray in the hole and drenched the area. For 2 hours there was a mass of buzzing between the rafters as stragglers came ‘home’ but finally they stopped and there was only a few babies to mop up over the coming fortnight. The last few were white.
    And as for wasps… 😉
Unless this is to be a three year El Nino and it tracks 1997/1998 the panic will start to die next year. The water anomaly isn’t looking as hot as the Big One and should peak by January. At the moment it’s lost it’s ‘root’.

There hasn’t been the enormous spike of heat the warmists were hoping for. Strong yclone activity in the Pacific has been cooling the sea surface. You can even see the track of them in cold water eg this one shows Joachim in the Atlantic, missing the US (ha). So near and yet so far.

The Met will know that the gig is up and start damage limitation if there isn’t a sign of emerging heat by the spring.

Addition to the comment that hasn’t appeared yet.
If it snows on the climateers or it’s a bad winter, it will be game over even quicker.
Proviso – it isn’t a three year El Nino.

You have to understand these wasps. This isn’t about climate. That’s just a good issue to advance what it is about. And it’s about man being bad to nature. That’s all, that’s it. If the climate issue dies today, there are plenty of others to take its place that would support the “man is bad” meme.
So what is the “man is bad” meme? Well, it has a lot of facets. First, there are too many of us and we are using up resources like a parasite on a host. So the running out of resources aspect is high on the list and with climate it gives an avenue to attack the running out of fossil fuels claim. It’s also about growth. The claim is that we cannot continue to grow and expect to have on one Earth support us.
This type of thinking of course has very old roots and has evolved over the years. There’s the problem right there. And it may get worse as children are indoctrinated into this type of thinking. A good example of the summation of this thinking and the message to children (and adults) can be seen in “The Story of Stuff”. You can tell where people stand by their reaction to that short story.
Unfortunately, the cynic is me feels that even if the climate issue dies, we will see a new push like ocean acidification. What we need is an army of people like Julian Simon.

Approved – sorry, I’ve been researching 1st Century sexual comedy.

What annoys me most, is that if people want to do religion – then go join a religious group – but please don’t pretend it is science. And if some academic gets this “religion”, then they have to choose whether they are going to up hold the standards of science – even when it conflicts with their religion or leave their job and do their religion where it won’t affect others.

  6. Scottish-Sceptic says:

The big problem is that the honest academics with some brains have seen that global warming is nuts but as is the way of PC “must be nice to everyone” academia, rather than out their colleagues, they just talk about it.
The result is that the press continue to hear the climate extremists continue ranting and raving with their lunacy – (many) continue to print the same insane diatribe of vitriol and still very very few academics are willing to stand up and openly admit they are sceptics.

  7. …but as is the way of PC “must be nice to everyone” academia, rather than out their colleagues, they just talk about it.

You have no idea how academia works, which is not surprising given your constant ranting and raving about it.

  8. Scottish-Sceptic says:

I do know, and because I know, I know that you will take offence to me talking about it. So, because I don’t wish to intentionally upset you, I can’t really say much at all.
