COP21= less media coverage?

I can’t be sure, but it looks to me  that there is now less coverage of climate now that COP21 has started than before. Which suggests

  • All the journalists who print this climate porn have flown to a posh hotel in Paris.
  • Almost everyone who reads their climate porn is in Paris, leaving no reason to print this climate porn.
  • There’s no good news to report.

On an entirely unrelated issue:
Golgafrincham was a planet, once home to the Great Circling Poets of Arium. The descendants of these poets made up tales of impending doom about the planet. The tales varied; some said it was going to crash into the sun, or the moon was going to crash into the planet. Others said the planet was to be invaded by twelve-foot piranha bees and still others said it was in danger of being eaten by an enormous mutant star-goat.
These tales of impending doom allowed the Golgafrinchans to rid themselves of an entire useless third of their population. The story was that they would build three Ark ships. Into the A ship would go all the leaders, scientists and other high achievers. The C ship would contain all the people who made things and did things, and the B ark would hold everyone else, such as hairdressers and telephone sanitizers. They sent the B ship off first, but of course the other two-thirds of the population stayed on the planet and lived full, rich and happy lives until they were all wiped out by a virulent disease contracted from a dirty telephone.

    Have you not being watching the BBC? Running round like Chiccken Licken, telling us the sky is falling down. God help us….

  2. Scottish-Sceptic says:

    No! I don’t watch the BBC any longer. They are like a brainwashing machine – and it’s not until you stop watching, that you realise just how much they are brainwashing you.
    It’s not that the BBC has changed – what changed is that the internet and new TV channels started showing people like us that we could have news and programs without having the BBC public sector “anti-human” culture thrust at us – and we were no longer prepared to accept it from the BBC.
    And the BBC just can’t understand what’s going on. They used to be loved – now a sizeable proportion of the population find them detestable – but for some reason “everyone like them” still thinks they are marvellous.

    Great – we can turn to more interesting things like dinosaur footprints on Skye 🙂

    thx -interesting!

    Monty Python did a thing about this whereby the hairdressers, etc. were the only survivors sent to another planet (earth) and were the founders of humanity.
